Want Breathtaking Mountain Maternity Photos in the Denver Metro Area?

Mountain maternity photos in the Denver metro area blog post image showing mom in front of mountains

It might surprise you, but you don’t have to leave the Denver metro area to capture breathtaking mountain maternity photos.  Epic locations with amazing backdrops are literally on our doorstep.  If you’re a sunset watcher, you probably already know that though.  Because this location is often filled with sunset watchers at that astonishingly beautiful time of day.

Just outside of Golden is a lookout and trailhead that has drop dead gorgeous views within steps of your car.  And going down the path just a few minutes gets you a completely different backdrop of coniferous forests.  So variety is definitely available at this location.

Why This Golden, Colorado Location Shines for Maternity Photography

Epic Mountain Backdrops

As I said above, this is a lookout, so the epic backdrops are right there at the parking lot.  The best part is that you just have to step off the pavement to make the photos look like they are out in the middle of nowhere.  So this is definitely a winner, no walk needed for epic images.

Variety of Backdrops - Forested Photo Locations Steps Away

Variety is an aspect I always look for in a location as well, and having the alpine forest within steps of the mountain backdrop is a huge plus.  What I love about this forested area even more is the fact that there are tons of rocky outcroppings right on the pathway to get really neat images of you nestled in the forest.

Why This Location Might Be For You

I’d recommend this location for you if you want any or all of the following:
