Want to be Surrounded by Splendid Mountains for your Maternity Photoshoot in Denver?

It’s a rarity to find a location that is completely surrounded by mountain peaks for a maternity photoshoot near Denver. The peak of Mount Falcon offers this type of experience. Located just south of Denver along Hwy 285, this location is easy to access and even easier to traverse. Within a short walk, we can see mountains in all directions. What do mountains in all directions afford us? Well, more mountains to include in photos of course.

Why This Location Shines for Maternity Photography

360 Mountain Backdrops

As I said above, having mountains in all directions is a rarity. Typically, we cap off a session with the mountain vista. Mountains are to the west of us, here in Denver, so it is where the setting sun lies. As a result, we wait until the sun is low to photograph there. Photographing towards the mountains is how we spend the last 20-30 minutes of your session. Before that, we’re photographing you in front of other backdrops. When there are mountains in all directions though, it means that we can capture mountains throughout the session if so wished. That’s pretty spectacular!

But variety is the spice of life, so it is always good to have other options as well. And that is where Mount Falcon also shines. It is a peak filled with an amazing coniferous forest. So we can capture backdrops of all types at this location.
